BBC: Interview with Yan St-Pierre on Africa blighted by multiple Jihadist threats

Tomi Oladipo, BBC Monitoring Africa security correspondent, interviewed Yan St-Pierre for his article “Africa blighted by multiple Jihadist threats“.

“IS interests in the region have become strong enough that dissenting parties within the AQIM constellation are willing to put aside their grievances and collaborate once again to protect their own interests,” says Yan St-Pierre of the international security-consulting group MOSECON. “This means AQIM will be more aggressive, not necessarily in terms of attacks, but in announcing its presence.”
