France 24: Expert says UK airbase plot ‘fits into a very intense pattern we’ve been seeing in past two months’

France 24 asked Yan St-Pierre to put the suspected bomb plot against the RAF airbase in Fairford into a wider security context. MOSECON’s CEO explained that many of the hybrid warfare cases seen recently « involve local nationals, this is not about exporting terror » and that this attack fits into a pattern involving multiple actors and layers, which intensified since mid-July across Europe, targeting critical infrastructure in particular.
