Joanna Bostock from ORF asked Yan St-Pierre to give his analysis of the attacks in Paris and whether it’s clear that the Islamic State is responsible: “The conflict no longer has borders

The communiqué is definitely legitimate, whether it’s coordinated from ISIS central out of Syria, out of Iraq still remains to be seen, but it’s definitely somebody that affiliates itself to ISIS. This is one of the biggest challenges facing security forces that many of these groups, including Al Qaida, they have pockets of so-called “fanboys”, of supporters that can carry out attacks in their name and this benefits these organisations greatly. It’s a legitimate claim, and to say ISIS did it holds water. (…) This attack yesterday was extremely sophisticated, it was very well planned, it was not something spontaneous (…). It shows you can’t hide from anything, the conflict no longer has borders.
