In their October 2025 issue, the Revue Défense Nationale published two articles by Yan St-Pierre. One is about “The African Front of the Russia-Ukraine War” and discusses how the battle of Tinzaouaten changed the Malian conflict and Ukraine’s involvement in Africa. The second article is on “Proliferation of Sabotage in Europe Since 2022: Beyond Hybrid Warfare” and analyses the impact of sabotage and disruption attempts, which have increased in Europe since 2022. These actions are part of dynamics that go beyond “hybrid warfare” and reinforce each other, amplifying their impact and scope. The success of sabotage reveals the vulnerabilities and shortcomings of security policies and measures, particularly for critical infrastructure in Europe.
