AFP: Interview with Yan St-Pierre on Buhari’s inauguration and recent attacks

The Indian News network NDTV (New Delhi Television) picked up on the AFP article quoting Yan St-Pierre on President Buhari’s inauguration and recent attacks.

Yan St-Pierre, head of the Modern Security Consulting Group, said Buhari’s relocation plan was “very sound”, allowing more streamlined communications between decision-makers, strategists and troops on the ground. “In short, this denotes a more hands-on approach to the fight against Boko Haram,” the counter-terrorism consultant told AFP in an email exchange.

Yahoo News also published a news item based on Bukar Husain’s AFP article “Deadly violence hits northeast as Nigeria president starts term“, including a statement from Yan St-Pierre, and so did China Post with an article titled “Boko Haram in sights of Nigeria president”. The South African newspaper group Independent featured the article under the title “Buhari pledges fight against Boko Haram” .
